Here's the video that Chloe recorded:
And, for your enjoyment, the full lyrics:
I Don’t Know
(to the tune of “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen)
The clock ticks slow in the classroom today
Not a smile to be seen
Another examination
And the teacher’s pretty mean
The sun is shining and I want to play outside
Couldn’t concentrate since I first applied.
They let me in, wrote back to me
Accepted at Tufts University!
But I’ve got tests, so I sit tight
I think I’ll write:
I don’t know, I don’t know
Can’t concentrate anymore
I don’t know, I don’t know
What are senior finals for?
I don’t care
If I don’t get an A
I’ve enrolled at Tufts
I sent my deposit in yesterday.
It’s funny how in high school
You always feel so small
But soon I’ll be a Jumbo
Can’t wait until next fall…
For four long years – before that, too,
Taking tests and quizzes; well I’m through.
Senioritis? That sounds like me.
Break free!
I don’t know, I don’t know
Can’t concentrate anymore
I don’t know, I don’t know
What are senior finals for?
I don’t care
If I don’t get an A
I’ve enrolled at Tufts…
I want to stand up,
trash the test, and make a scene.
It’s time to graduate,
go brown and blue twenty-eighteen!
My inner Jumbo shouts out
Like a trumpet blast
I’m never going back,
Once high school’s in the past.
I don’t know, I don’t know
Can’t concentrate anymore
I don’t know, I don’t know
What are senior finals for?
I don’t care
If I don’t get an A
I’ve enrolled at Tufts
I sent my deposit in yesterday.
